Pacifica Run

I usually forget a lot of my urban runs but this was a good one. I often think about what my life would look like if I lived in SF/Bay Area, and maybe I’d come here quite a bit if I did.

Started at the Pacifica Municipal Pier, up Mori Point and Mori Ridge Trail to horseshoe around Vallemar, and tried heading to the western tip of Pedro Point before getting shut down by the bushwacking and heading back. With stops to talk to locals and eat at the nation’s most scenic Taco Bell Cantina.

pacifica-13.jpg Waaay too many surfers haha. Had a guy talk my ear off about the beginnings of Pacifica and how much better he had it before it blew up.

Notes

  • This was probably ~15 miles and ~3300 feet of vertical gain in a little over 3 ½ hours.
